My love of languages started at an early age and over the years I have travelled extensively in France, Germany, and Italy. After leaving school I studied French, German and European Studies. I moved to Brussels and worked at the European Commission for ten years. I returned to education as a mature student and have a BA (Hons) in French and Italian and an MPhil in Comparative Literature (Distinction) both from Trinity College Dublin.

I started teaching English as a volunteer with the Intercultural Language Institute and Failte Isteach. I went on to gain my CELTA accreditation with CES College Dublin. I have also completed a Diploma in Digital Marketing (DMI, Blackrock). I am currently doing tutor courses with NALA (National Adult Literacy Agency).

I have been providing private tuition for Leaving Cert students for the past 8 years. From 2024-2025, I was the French teacher at Bray Institute for Further Education Night School, so I have experience working with students of all ages and levels.

I currently teach small groups and 1-1 and I do language walks which combine walking, language learning and meeting new people. I am committed to teaching all my students in a supportive, friendly environment - no pressure to move at a quick pace.
